Kitty Personalities.

I love how cats have their own personality. My cats' personalities compliment each other, too. They're complete opposites, but they get on so well and just live together peacefully...sometimes. Heh.

Sid Vicious. She acts like she's this Elizabeth Taylor, with such a tortured life and so much strife...I can almost hear her saying in this terribly British damsel voice, "Oh dear." She eats the most out of all the cats, which are two other boys, and if the bowl goes empty, she'll let you know. She also makes sure that the litter box is always clean. She'll let you know if it needs to be cleaned, too. Miss Vicious does NOT get along with Bandit, or the dog, and avoids them at all costs. Sometimes I wonder if she hates her existence. She's just so emotional sometimes...so...whiney. LoL. My little diva!

Rufio is noble. He reminds me of Aslan from Narnia. He's so strong and loving and very regal. The way his mouth is shaped, it always looks like he's smiling. Maybe he is? If you can't find him, he's probably upstairs in my window, gazing out. He will cry at the front door to be let out, and if you're not careful, he'll run right between your legs when you open the door. Rufio is the catnip MASTER. He will just hold it to his face and inhale and make these weird meowy noises. I call it his "catgasm." He and Sid are from the same litter, and are both throw-aways that I took in. They're 2 years old, and they love each other SO much...they give one another kisses and love on each other. It's so cute. If you look in his pictures above, you can see his happy smile, and if you look closer, you can see his little fangs! Awwh!

Bandit is straaange. He's a siamese/tabby mix, and has HUGE paws. click to see I'm not very educated on meezers, so I don't know if his mannerisms and traits are normal of siamese cats, or if they're just his own personality. He turned a year old this month, and has started crying at night...well, even sometimes throughout the day, if he's alone, he'll cry. Just "Brrroooowww?" And I call to him, and he's okay. It's almost as if he's regressing back into being a kitten. Maybe it's just a teenager thing? Bandit loves Rufio SO much, and he tries so hard to get him to play with him and have fun. But he just gets ignored and batted in the face. Sometimes they sniff of him and give him a lick, but mostly it's just "Leave me alone, kid." Poor thing.

I know I've described them before when I introduced myself, but I just had to do it again! I love my babies!

I love the extreme close-up of Ms. Vicious. Bandit looks all Siamese, like my Harri...

The only "tabby" part about him is his tail. It's rather racoonish. ;]

And the extreme close-up is Vicious sniffing the camera. I thought it was SO cute! She's like "Hellllloooo...?"

"Brrroooowww?", in a pretty, female siamese voice is often heard at my house. My 9 year old seal point (see icon) will often howl for no reason. So I'll howl back and she'll come in the room. I think it is just her way of getting attention. It could also be the way of finding out where we are in the house (think of a sonar ping from a submarine :) ).

The tongue rolling "r's"? Oh yes, heard very frequently. And sometimes just a "Brrr" with his mouth closed, like when he's playing or looking for mischief. He's a sweet boy, though. I love him very much. Your seal point is gorgeous! She looks curious, too. :]

I actually hissed at all three of them last night. At about 1:00 AM they got on this crazy spree. Running around and just all out nuisance. I was already asleep, and they woke me up! I heard Rufio hiss at Bandit, and I hissed back. TOTAL SILENCE. I turned on my lamp, and they were all three sitting on the floor, looking at me like, "Mum? Was that you?" And I said, "Yeah, I can hiss too!" and they settled down and slept soundly the rest of the night. LoL!
